Triple-A games such as resident evil 6 have so much hype that we normally ignore the little things that would not be acceptable in average games. For example in resident evil 6 zombies jump through some windows to intercept you, yet you cannot jump through those very same windows even though you can jump through some others in the game. That being said some people may not believe that's a big deal but for some it takes away the sense of adventure and really draws attention to how linear the game actually is.
Although this game is not all bad it still contains everything a triple-A sequel game would need, such as new additions like multiple new zombie types to dismember , Hundreds of different collectibles to gather, and a variety of skill points to collect and allocate into performance enhancing upgrades. Also to add, as a writer Simon parker said in his review of the game "A return of the series' best-known protagonists, paired off into co-op-facilitating duos." The game includes great co-operative play as have all other recent resident evil games.
Rather than being an inspired game this game was inspired by a game, one of Capcom's earlier resident evils that tells the tale of raccoon city the very first city to succumb to the zombie outbreak otherwise known as the T-Virus, But in the creation of resident evil 6 they failed to grasp the hearts of the audience with the collectibles that offer minimal rewards such as small chunks of history or a character model figurine.
One of the greatest mistakes they made in the creation of this game is it does not truly feel like a sequel, all they did was add a new skill system a few new zombies and a different storyline, even though they added a new storyline they used characters from the games past so it doesn't truly feel like a new storyline it just feels like the same old thing. Whereas they could have introduced more characters to the game, better rewards for their collectible items a fresh storyline that doesn't focus on grasping a game from the past. To sum it all up the game as a whole is not terrible but it has a lack of fresh creativity that so many new games have and that derives from the experience as a whole. It becomes more about capturing the history of an old game rather than creating a new game altogether.
