Bethesda is not blaming anyone for their Dawnguard content they released for PlayStation 3. They are working on the problems and bugs with PlayStation to solve their lag and glitch issues. As a fan of Skyrim for the PlayStation 3 console who has wanted this content since its release of the game means there is still hope for us PlayStation fans. I would rather wait for a quality finished product than something that was of poor quality.

Bethesda stated "that they may never release the content for the PlayStation 3." When Peter Hines was asked what the major problems that are in the downloadable content he stated "That the performance isn't good enough in all cases, for some it would be" he stated he followed by saying that " he does not have any info for Hearthfire, Dawnguard or the other dlc they have planned they are still working on it." On August 2 2012 Bethesda confirmed "That Dawnguard is running but it is not satisfactory and up to their standards to be released" putting this info on their official blog. The way that it was worded could seem to most that it was never going to be released to us PlayStation fans.

Skyrim has had problems for the PlayStation 3 console from day one which mostly consist of memory problems and lag issues. They knew about these issues before the release of the game which poses the question why would you release something that you know that you are not impressed with and how their design team and Bethesda being the amazing game company could let this happen.

They do not want us left out in the cold having to switch to the x box or PC version just to play the dlc for Skyrim. Some of the posts that Bethesda made on their forums indicated it might not be released for the PlayStation 3. But they are doing their best with PlayStations help to get it to us as quick as possible. Bethesda put out a patch that fixed all the in game problems but it had no effect on the Dawnguard content. If they can release a patch that improves almost all of the basic for the world of Tamriel I believe that they can fix their content problems and make us all happy and still interested for what they have coming next.
