Microsoft VS Sony

When it comes down to settling Sony and Microsoft console's the competition never ends. On Friday November 4 2012 Sony announced that 70 million units of PlayStation 3 have been sold worldwide since its launch in 2006. Microsoft sold the same amount of Xbox Units as of September 30th 2012. This mean Sony's PlayStation 3 may have the upper lead in sales. Microsoft better step it up if they plan to be number 1 again. This news may surprise those who follow the American Market. Microsoft has been release a year earlier than Sony and Sony is caught up to Microsoft sales.

Which is superior

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are great in their own way. American believes Xbox is much better because many American believe Microsoft Xbox 360 console is better than PlayStation 3. However what makes these two consoles so great in their own way? American think Microsoft's Xbox 360 is better than Sony's PlayStation 3. However Sony can’t be judge only by American’s point of view. In other regions such as Europe and Asian country has always shown an interest for the PlayStation 3

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 both are powerful system that brought wonderful things but to distinguish which is the better console will be a challenge because everyone's opinions are different. Therefore let's look in to both game consoles. Xbox brings greater online services to meet other players, and live support for their customer. However Sony is free services so can't complain about their services if people are not willing to pay the extra fee for better services. Both consoles have fairly similar graphic performance but the PlayStation 3 is slightly more powerful than Xbox 360 because the frame rate for PlayStation 3 has absolutely no screen tears but Xbox 360 has some occasionally. The only different is PlayStation 3 features Blu-ray disk and Xbox has double layer DVDs.

Sony and Microsoft games have always been the primary reasons to why people will purchase a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. Xbox have great exclusive games such as Gear of War 3, mass Effect 3 and Halo Combat and Forza Motorsport 4 while PlayStation 3 has Infamous 1&2, little big planet, and Metal Gear Solid 4. These two consoles have fun games but Xbox is richer in first person shooter (FPS) games. PlayStation 3 is a great console but it doesn't seem to offer many great games, makes Xbox a better console for FPS audiences. PlayStation 3 is much likely to be play by young that enjoy Mature and childish games.

Overall, Sony's PlayStation 3 console is a much powerful system but Microsoft's Xbox 360 provide funnier entertainment that makes Microsoft console a better sales market in the game industry. However Sony's PlayStation 3 may be the direction of how technology will be advanced for future entertainments.
