FINALLY THE TIME HAS COME!! Xbox and Play Station are finally coming out with a new system and not just changing the case and color and calling it something better and charging more, this time they may actually change the actually console!! The Xbox 360 came out in 2005 and ever since there have been "advancements" in the system, yes the Elite (which was the upgraded version which came out in 2010) had wifi built in and an extra 2 USB ports. Big whoop! That doesn't make the system any better yet it was 100$ more expensive than the original.
Finally Microsoft has announced the release of the new and improved Xbox 720. It's due to hit the shelves in late October, what a shocker there, right around the holiday season. The system is also looking to get paired up with one of the top sellers these days, Assassin's Creed 4, which they hope will boost sales. The console has been long awaited and that fact that they plan to market it with my personal favorite series in gaming today, I think it's going to fly off the shelves like baseball gloves on opening day.
The new system is said to take over the game market and be the best next gen entertainment system out. The 720 will have Kinect 2 integration, DVR features and possibly even set-top box functionality, this is huge for the entertainment industry today. It will be a big money saver for people who don't have cable boxes and just like to use the internet to watch their shows and such. The 720 is going to revolutionize how we watch our shows and search the web. But with all of these great things coming out with all these new wonderful advances, well we all know all great things come to an end sometime; well rumor has it that these could be the last systems in the home entertainment industry.
