Coll Regan What are you doing Lucasarts?

Now you would think that a company with such amazing licenses as Indiana Jones and Star Wars would be making a new bestselling every year, unfortunately that thought would be completely wrong. For some odd reason, they have decided to make no follow ups to some of their bestselling games, such as Battlefront 2. In fact the only games that make the studio any money these days are their many different lego instalments such as Lego Indiana Jones. At least for me this doesn't really make any sense as their older games were extremely popular and people have been asking for a new Battlefront in years. Can you imagine the money the studio would rake in if they made an uncharted style Indiana Jones for the big consoles? Or if they made a new Star Wars game in the style of Battlefield 3? Although there has been rumours, and even a trailer of a few games they have apparently making, I will not hold my breath as it has now been announced that they have been put on hold, even though you would think with Disney at the helm they would want to make money.
The only problem with the new owners is they may find that the studio has been generating a very small profit and become an extremely overbearing company pushing for yearly releases and extreme amounts of dlc, which coupled with the recent disappointment of fans, may completely ruin their reputation and set them up for complete failure. This seems to be a very recent trend of mayn companies, where they have extremely good licenses and series already set up, and then they deviate from the formula and try to create a completely different game changer, and a good 80% of the time this turns into a massive money sink which loses the company much more than their reputation. I find it hard to continue to believe in a company like Lucasarts when they make games like the Star Wars for connect which involved a Star Wars style , dance dance revolution mini game which made me sick just watching. Why a company would seem to almost go out of their way to alienate their fans and actually lose money and respect I will never know, but hopefully under new leadership and the slim chance of the new Star Wars 1313 game being continued maybe they will claw their way back to the top. Here's me hoping that they can pull themselves together and create classic again such as Tie Fighter.
